We produce exceptional, handcrafted beers. Shades of Pale beer is all about the recipes, and adding subtle twists to classic styles. Our goal is to create uniquely-brewed, beers, of consistent high quality that bring people back for more.
Stop by and See us
We are located at 2160 S.W. Temple in Salt Lake City. We outgrew out pilot Park City brewery and have relocated brewing operations to Salt Lake City. Though we are still remodeling the facility, we have resumed brewing operations and you can find our beer on tap in Park City, Ogden and the greater Salt Lake Valley. You can find bottles at select locations through the state. Visitors are always welcome. We host informal tours and bottles are also available for sale onsite. We anticipate the tasting room will be complete by late January 2015, with the gift shop and event room by February, and beer garden early summer.
Please excuse our lack of signage. The brewery is on the Corner of S.W. Temple and Utopia on the old “High Grade Meats” building. Yes, we moved into an old meat packing plant. We are at the back of the building with entrance at 154 Utopia. Look for the loading dock. We are usually there M-F 8:00-6:30, and often as late as 9:00 p.m. The door is usually open, but you can call or text 435-200-3009 if you get lost or can’t find us.
If you are visiting or new to town: From the airport, we are on the TRAX line, half a block from Central Pointe Station. We are just a few minutes south of downtown Salt Lake City, a few blocks from hwy 80, about a 25 minute drive from Kimball Junction in Park City en route to the airport, and just a few minutes from Sugar House.
